Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Anita Joyce of the fab blog Cedar Hill Farmhouse at a book signing and discussion hosted by Village Antiques, one of my favorite local antique shops. Often when you find a great blog that you love to follow, you wonder what the blogger is really like when they are not behind the keyboard. It was so refreshing to find that Anita is just as inspiring and down to earth as her blog is.
Anita shared some of her personal story – family, past jobs, and her realization that blogging was her true passion – as well as some great tips for key, easy to find pieces that you can incorporate into your own home to get that French farmhouse feel. It was great sharing questions and ideas with other farmhouse style lovers, not to mention another opportunity to browse one of my favorite shops for French finds.
If you don’t already follow Anita’s blog Cedar Hill Farmhouse, she gave us quick access to sign up and her FREE e-book “8 Ways to Add Farmhouse French Style”. If you’d like a copy, just text the word CEDAR to 66866, and you’ll get connected right away. How cool is that?
I left with a signed copy of Anita’s beautiful book “French Accents” (also available on her website HERE)…
And a few small accessories from Village Antiques for my coffee table and kitchen I couldn’t leave without…
It was the perfect Friday morning boost – a little blogger inspiration and a dose of French farmhouse. Thanks Anita!
Be sure to follow Cedar Hill Farmhouse for all of Anita’s great tips and projects.
Have a great weekend everyone!
