Vintage Wednesday Linkup Party #11

Good morning vintage lovers! Wednesday has arrived and if you’re like me, that’s the point in the week when things start to pick up and your list of things to do seems to get longer. First thing on my list? Well, that was coffee. But second thing… let’s get the next Vintage Wednesday linkup party rolling!

Linkups are a great way to introduce your blog to new readers and meet some new bloggers as well, so don’t be shy! Vintage Wednesday is open to all sorts of topics – crafts, DIY, favorite product finds, businesses, art and graphics, repurposed goods, recipes with old fashioned flair, and anything else that’s inspired by vintage style and love. This linkup is open for a full week, so you have till next Tuesday to add your links below and have a chance to be featured link the links here today! Tell your friends too!

Our first featured post of the day is an adorable chandelier revamp by My Thrift Store Addiction. When I first saw this DIY Whimsical Teacup Chandelier, I instantly thought Mad Hatter Tea Party. Can’t you just see thing over the table with Alice and her friends? I love that she kept the colors soft and neutral, so it’s slightly understated and doesn’t overly distract from the rest of the pretty room.

Feature #2 is an awesome tutorial for a Custom Geometric Jewelry and Trinket Dish by Aki 1AM. These remind me of some of the mod pieces I kept from my parents decor from the 60’s-70’s, but a lot cuter and more useful. (Am I the only one that hung onto a vintage mod ashtray but never smoked?) Anyway, Aki gives you the complete step by step for making these. Would be an awesome customized gift too, once you made one for yourself of course ;).
