Happy Wednesday my vintage loving friends! The new year is upon us and I for one am looking forward to finding out what 2016 has in store for me. But before the clock strikes midnight on the last day of 2015, I’ve got 1 more Vintage Wednesday Link-up party to invite you to and a few featured posts to share before we bid the year a goodbye.
For those that have been featured in today’s post, be sure to scroll down and snag my “I was featured” button to post back on your own blog. At the end of this post, you will also find the NEXT link-up party that starts TODAY and that I will be leaving open through next Tuesday at noon due to the busy holiday schedule to give everyone who would like to add a link some extra time to do so.
Here’s a few of my favorites from this past week’s link-up:
I have dashes of gold throughout my house, and debated long and hard on having a “gold only” Christmas tree this year (the kids won that battle) so Kathryn’s Christmas Gold feature at The Dedicated House was a must see for me. I love how she perfectly mixed golds in various textures to give it that “oh I just threw this together and it turned out perfect’ look. (I wish I could have that kind of talent with my wardrobe…) Anyway, do take a peek, and bookmark it for next Christmas!
Need some vintage graphics inspiration? Then you’re going to hit a goldmine when you visit Far Far Hill and the neverending assortment of digital papers, backgrounds and other graphic and printable tools. The Antique Maps Set in this post are too die for and I can think of about 3 projects I would like to try them on as we speak, but you’ll have to wait for those….
For the vintage industrial fanatics, you’re gonna love this one. Who would have imagined Antique Insulators – you know those glass covers for telegraph and phone wiring – could be so beautiful and come in so many colors? Well, Collectors Weekly did that’s who, and they have a great post with photos of just about every color insulator you can imagine and some wonderful history tidbits. Pretty fascinating to see…
Featured bloggers can save a copy of the above image, upload it to your page, and link it back to the following:
Thanks for stopping in to see today’s featured posts… and NOW on to the next Vintage Wednesday Link-up Party!
